I’m a video producer, content strategist, and creative partner who believes that great storytelling starts with genuine connection and a great soundtrack. My journey began in a small town in Oklahoma (Ada), where my parents, teachers and mentors gave me the confidence to believe I could go anywhere — and I did.
After earning a degree in film and advertising from the University of Oklahoma, I landed in New York City, producing and editing for MTV.com right in the heart of Times Square. Those early years put me behind the camera with artists like Pharrell, Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera, 50 Cent, and the Foo Fighters, and taught me how to merge creativity, culture, and brand identity in a fast-paced environment.
That foundation launched a career that’s now spanned advertising, marketing, entertainment, and corporate production, from national commercial campaigns for brands like Buffalo Wild Wings, Auntie Anne’s, Under Armour, Toyota, and Carhartt to live-streamed leadership events and branded storytelling for companies including Delta, Walmart, Americold, and Sonic.
As a producer at Nested Studios, I lead projects from concept through delivery — blending creative vision with operational precision. Whether I’m crafting a narrative for a Fortune 500 client or directing a live broadcast, I bring the same focus: helping brands connect with their audience in ways that feel human, authentic, and memorable.
Off set, I’m also known as DJ TOBSTAR, a nod to my lifelong love of music — something that began when a few friends and I DJ’d our high school lunch breaks, then we also formed a garage band that released an album our senior year.
Those roots — community, creativity, and persistence — still guide everything I do. I’m grateful for every teacher, collaborator, and client who’s helped shape the journey so far… and I’m always looking forward to the next story to tell.
